GOURMET BARBECUE COURSE

BBQ heaven awaits you at the Cookery School. Angela has designed a range of courses so that you can cook al fresco all year round. You will learn how to create a range of rubs, marinades, glazes and how to brine. You will then apply a range of classic barbecue skills – grilling, roasting, baking and hot smoking to produce a stunning lunch and some take home treats.
Here is our Summer inspired menu-
- Indian Flat Bread with Fresh Coriander
- Chicken Tikka and Fresh Mango Kebabs- Lunch
- Spiced Pilaf with Summer Peas and Beans-Lunch
- Hot Smoked Stuffed Mackerel with Herb and Citrus Rub
- Low ‘n’ Slow cooked Gammon with Peach and Maple Glaze
- Baked Vanilla Cake with Summer Fruits and Cassis
- You will also make a rub and a glaze to take home
Please bring the following containers to take your food home in-
- 1 x large sheet of foil for the bread
- 1 x large sheet of foil to wrap up your fish
- 1 x large sheet of foil or container for your gammon
- 1 x 300ml container for summer fruits, we will supply your dessert container
