SKILL BUILDER: CURRIES

Learn the basic skills you need to make a really good curry.  Part of the secret is learning how to layer flavour. This all starts with the spices you use and your tutor will teach you how to roast and blend your own to give you more authentic flavour.  Your evening will include the following:-

  • Roasting and blending spices
  • How to make a classic masala paste then a chicken curry
  • How to make a classic dal dish, and how to  temper it to finish
  • How to make Winter Vegetable Pakora, to eat in class with delicious chutneys

Please bring:-

  • A 400ml container for the chicken dish
  • A 300ml container for the dal dish

We will wrap up a few pakoras and a chutney for you to take home too!
